Tiny Tots Academy Wins Accolate for 2nd Year

Tiny Tots Academy wins accolate for the second year. Tiny Tots Academy came top in Scotland and fourth in the U.K in a poll ran by the Daynurseries web site. “We are honoured to receive an award from the daynurseries web site for the second year running. To be voted number one in Scotland and fourth in the U.K. as the most recommended nursery is testament to the hard work and dedication of my wonderful staff. This award is achieved as a result of our parents endorsing the service we provide at Tiny Tots Academy which makes this award very special. I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate my Manager, Nicola Smith, and her wonderful staff, Kim Boyce, Emma Craig, Lisa Craney, Kerrie Byrne, Stephanie McAuley, Joanne McLean, Natasha Ferguson, Jennifer Cameron, Karen Hunter, Fiona Kerr, Pamela Gow and Ciara McFaulds who all endeavour to make Tiny Tots Academy the best we can possibly be. We strive to “Make A Memory Everyday” at Tiny Tots Academy and we certainly achieved this in our celebrations today”.
Tiny Tots Academy steps forward with Scottish Invention
We at Tiny Tots continue to show our intension to be at the forefront of innovative childcare by investing in a new child safety walking system. We will be able to take our young charges out more and keep them safer by using Walkodile® for their outdoor trips.
Created by Scots primary teacher Elaine Stephen MBE, Walkodile® has won a string of awards including UK Invention of the Year & Nursery Innovation of the Year. Up to six children each wear a high visibility safety belt which links them via a secure two-way connector to a flexible central spine. This means the outing is more manageable for staff and the walk is more relaxed and enjoyable for everyone.
Tiny Tots owner Joan Greenshields said:
“Walkodile® allows staff to concentrate more on the learning experience for the children outside nursery, rather than containing or behavioural issues. We conduct full risk assessments prior to all outdoor activities and Walkodile® will help to minimise most risk factors. This gives staff and parents much greater peace of mind, plus the children love going for a walk with Walkodile®.
“By getting this great new innovation, we’re sending a clear message to parents and the local community on the value we place on children’s safety. This is our number one priority and using Walkodile® underlines this.”
